Field Trip to Rusty Roof's

One of the favorite field trips of the year, was going to Rusty Roof's.  The kids watched how frozen custard, donuts, and hamburgers were made.

It was a hit for all the moms and dads too!

So many flavors to choose from.....

Seeing the restaurant's kitchen was very impressive.

Ethan LOVED the mini-donuts, that were fresh from the fryer!

It Looked Like Spilt Milk

We LOVE books at preschool.

One of the best parts of reading a new book, is the craft that often accompanies it.

The kids used their imaginations to create a vision of what their "spilled" milk would look like.

Matching Games

Each of the kids made their own matching game from plastic bottle caps that one of our terrific moms donated.

LOADS of caps and a huge selection of stickers turned this simple game into an amazing activity that kept the kids busy long after they went home!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a preschool FAVORITE--and has scores of crafts and activities to accompany the catchy story!

The alphabet was displayed all over the coconut trees in our class today!

St Patrick's Day

We used a laminated rainbow card to sort and organize a pack of M&Ms.

It was a treat to use candy as our "tools" today!

There was definitely a rainbow in every package!

A special leprechaun left his magic powder for the kids to mix with milk.

GREEN pudding magically appeared......yum.

The boys made leprechaun traps to see if they would have any luck finding the tricky guy that left treats in our class today!  We'll see if they work.

A pot of Gold......is truly a Pot of GOLD for Zachary!

Making rainbows never tasted so delicious.  Fruity cereal became the color of choice on our rainbow patterns.
