We started our new month off with 2 field trips on the same day. Normally this would not have worked so well, but Tomato Street and Hero Dental are in the same parking lot and each tour was an hour each.
We started with being shown around the newly remodeled Tomato Street restaurant. This is one of my favorite field trips because it is short and sweet. The kids are so easily impressed and to top it off, everyone gets cheese pizza and a rootbeer for FREE. You had me at Free. The waitress' that came in early to show us around were funny and gave away prizes and even showed the kids a happy face made from food.
The kids loved playing with the homemade playdough (really colored pizza dough) and being able to color on the tables...literally.
