This is the fabulous group of kids that started my 5th year of teaching preschool--Sydney H, Macy R, Brennen F, Zachary S, Mason B, Abby O, Samuel M, and Jessica E. I couldn't have asked for a better set of personalities and balance in our classroom. This is our first day of class and everyone is excited to be there--including ME!! Our theme during the first week of school was "All about Me." We had such fun making the 18" versions of ourselves, complete with hair, clothes, and shoes. The kids took pride in the fact that they got to use scissors and glue all by themselves. As always, snack time was a favorite. We started a snack bucket that accompanies the kids home on their assigned day. The excitement is palpable when their name is called as the next snack helper. We are going to have a great year!
